🌯 Cheesy Ground Beef Tortilla Wraps
🛒 Ingredients :
1 lb (450 g) ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion , finely chopped
2 cloves garlic , minced
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp ground cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup tomato sauce (or crushed tomatoes)
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
4–6 large flour tortillas
Optional: fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
👩🍳 Instructions :
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and cook for about 3–4 minutes until soft.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds .
Add the ground beef , breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned and fully cooked through (about 6–8 minutes ).
Season with paprika , cumin , salt , and pepper .
Stir in the tomato sauce and let it simmer for 5 minutes to blend the flavors.
Remove from heat and mix in half of the shredded cheese (save the rest for topping or inside the wrap).
Warm the tortillas slightly (in a pan or microwave) to make them easier to fold.
Spoon the beef mixture into the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle with more cheese if you like.
Fold the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly like a burrito.
(Optional) Lightly grill or toast the wraps in a pan on both sides until golden and the cheese melts.
Serve warm. Garnish with chopped parsley or cilantro if desired.
