Filet Mignon with Mustard 🍽️🥩

Ingredients:

  • 2 cutlet fillets (approximately 200g each)
  • 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 100 ml of fresh cream
  • 1 shallot (finely chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A few sprouts of fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  • In a small bowl, mix the Dijon mustard with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Generously bask in tender fillets with this mustard mix.
  • Heat the olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the fillet fillets to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side for a slow cook, or adjust to your liking.
  • Remove the nets from the frying pan and let them sit for a few minutes under aluminum foil.
  • In the same pan, add the shallots and simmer for about 2 minutes.
  • Add sour cream and let simmer for 2-3 minutes until you get a creamy sauce.
  • Put the fillets back in the frying pan to coat them well in the sauce.
  • Serve hot fillets, topped with fresh parsley.
