Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz / 400 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz / 350 ml) evaporated milk
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream or whipping cream
  • 3 tbsp sugar (optional, to taste)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Optional toppings:

  • Crushed biscuits or cookies
  • Caramel syrup
  • Fresh fruits (strawberries, banana slices, or mango)
  • Grated chocolate or coconut

Instructions

  1. Mix the ingredients:
    In a saucepan, combine condensed milk, evaporated milk, heavy cream, cornstarch, sugar, and salt. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
  2. Cook until creamy:
    Place the pan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the mixture thickens (about 8–10 minutes). Don’t let it burn — stir continuously!
  3. Add vanilla:
    Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Cool down:
    Let it cool for a few minutes, then pour into serving bowls or a large dish.
  5. Chill:
    Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (the longer, the creamier).
  6. Serve:
    Top with fruits, crushed cookies, or caramel before serving. Enjoy cold!
