⏱️ Total Time: 50–60 minutes
🍽️ Serves: 8–10 slices
Ingredients
1 can (14 oz / 397 g ) sweetened condensed milk
4 large eggs
1 cup (125 g ) all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ cup (115 g ) unsalted butter , melted (or ½ cup oil for lighter texture)
2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Optional: 2 tbsp milk (if batter feels too thick)
Instructions
🔹 Step 1: Preheat
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) .
Grease and line a 9-inch round or 8×8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
🔹 Step 2: Mix Wet Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together condensed milk , eggs , melted butter , and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
🔹 Step 3: Add Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, sift together flour , baking powder , and salt .
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined — the batter will be thick and smooth.
If it feels too thick, stir in a couple of tablespoons of milk.
🔹 Step 4: Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 35–45 minutes , or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
🔹 Step 5: Cool & Serve
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes , then transfer to a wire rack.
Serve warm or at room temperature — plain, dusted with powdered sugar , or with fresh fruit and whipped cream .
