🥤 Beetroot and Lemon Detox Juice
Ingredients (makes 2 servings)
2 medium beetroots , peeled and chopped
1 medium lemon , juiced (or 2 tablespoons bottled lemon juice)
1 small apple (optional, for natural sweetness)
1-inch piece fresh ginger , peeled (optional for digestion boost)
1 cup cold water or coconut water
Ice cubes (optional)
Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare ingredients
Wash and peel the beetroot and ginger.
Chop everything into small pieces for easy blending.
Blend
Add beetroot, lemon juice, apple (if using), ginger, and water to a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Strain (optional)
For a smoother drink, strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
If you like a fiber-rich juice, skip this step.
Serve
Pour into a glass, add ice if desired, and garnish with mint leaves.
