⏱ Total Time: 20–25 minutes

👥 Serves: 2–4

⭐ Difficulty: Very Easy

🌟 Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet), sliced 1/4-inch thick
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or parsley)

🥣 Instructions

1. Prep the potatoes

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes (peeling is optional).
  2. Slice them evenly, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Optional: soak slices in cold water for 15–20 minutes to remove excess starch — helps them get crispier.
  4. Pat dry thoroughly with a towel.

2. Season the potatoes

  1. Place potato slices in a large bowl.
  2. Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

3. Air fry

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Arrange the potato slices in a single layer in the basket (do not overcrowd; you may need 2 batches).
  3. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

4. Serve

  1. Remove from the air fryer, sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired.
  2. Serve hot as a side dish, snack, or with dipping sauces like ketchup, aioli, or sour cream.
