Sliced Baked Potatoes
Ingredients
4 medium russet potatoes
3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Optional: shredded cheese, chopped herbs, bacon bits
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Wash and thinly slice potatoes (not all the way through — keep the base intact).
Brush with oil or butter, getting between the slices.
Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Place on a baking sheet and bake for 45–55 minutes, until crispy and tender.
Optional: Add cheese or toppings in the last 5–10 minutes.
Serve hot as a side or snack.
