🌿 Ginger Water (Detox & Digestion Booster)

Ginger water is known for supporting digestion, reducing bloating, and boosting immunity. Here’s how to make it properly.


βœ… Ingredients

  • 1–2 inches (2–5 cm) fresh ginger root
  • 3–4 cups (750 ml – 1 liter) water
  • 1–2 teaspoons lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • A pinch of turmeric or black pepper (optional)

1. Prepare the ginger

  • Rinse thoroughly.
  • Peel if desired.
  • Slice thinly or grate (grating makes it stronger).

2. Boil

  • Bring the water to a boil.
  • Add the ginger.
  • Reduce heat and simmer 10–15 minutes.

3. Strain

  • Remove from heat and strain out the ginger pieces.

4. Add optional ingredients

  • Add lemon for vitamin C
  • Add honey for sweetness
  • Add turmeric + black pepper for extra anti-inflammatory benefits

5. Serve

  • Drink warm

  • 1 tbsp lemon
