πΏ Ginger Water (Detox & Digestion Booster)
Ginger water is known for supporting digestion, reducing bloating, and boosting immunity. Hereβs how to make it properly.
β Ingredients
- 1β2 inches (2β5 cm) fresh ginger root
- 3β4 cups (750 ml β 1 liter) water
- 1β2 teaspoons lemon juice (optional)
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
- A pinch of turmeric or black pepper (optional)
π₯ Instructions
1. Prepare the ginger
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Peel if desired.
- Slice thinly or grate (grating makes it stronger).
2. Boil
- Bring the water to a boil.
- Add the ginger.
- Reduce heat and simmer 10β15 minutes.
3. Strain
- Remove from heat and strain out the ginger pieces.
4. Add optional ingredients
- Add lemon for vitamin C
- Add honey for sweetness
- Add turmeric + black pepper for extra anti-inflammatory benefits
5. Serve
- Drink warm
OR - Let cool and refrigerate for a refreshing cold ginger water.

- Slice 1β2 inches ginger
- Add to 1 liter room-temperature water

This version is milder.

- 2 inches ginger (grated)
- 1 tbsp lemon
- Pinch turmeric
- 1 tsp honey
Boil 15 minutes for maximum strength.
