🥬✨ Cabbage with Onions Fritters
Crispy, savory, inexpensive, and unbelievably good.
🥕 Ingredients
- 1 small cabbage
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoons flour (all-purpose)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Paprika, to taste
- Dried garlic (or garlic powder), to taste
- Olive oil, for frying

1. Prep the vegetables
- Finely shred the cabbage.
- Thinly slice or dice the onion.
- Grate the carrot.
- Place cabbage, onion, and carrot in a large bowl.
2. Season
Add:
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Paprika
- Dried garlic
Mix well.
Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes so the cabbage softens slightly.
3. Add eggs & flour
- Crack in the 2 eggs.
- Add the 4 tablespoons flour.
Mix until everything is well coated and forms a thick batter-like vegetable mixture.
(If it looks too wet, add 1 more spoon of flour.)
4. Fry
- Heat a thin layer of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Spoon the mixture into the pan, forming small patties or fritters.
- Fry 3–4 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
5. Serve
