  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons flour (all-purpose)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Paprika, to taste
  • Dried garlic (or garlic powder), to taste
  • Olive oil, for frying

👩‍🍳 Full Recipe

1. Prep the vegetables

  • Finely shred the cabbage.
  • Thinly slice or dice the onion.
  • Grate the carrot.
  • Place cabbage, onion, and carrot in a large bowl.

2. Season

Add:

  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Paprika
  • Dried garlic
    Mix well.
Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes so the cabbage softens slightly.

3. Add eggs & flour

  • Crack in the 2 eggs.
  • Add the 4 tablespoons flour.
Mix until everything is well coated and forms a thick batter-like vegetable mixture.
(If it looks too wet, add 1 more spoon of flour.)

4. Fry

  • Heat a thin layer of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Spoon the mixture into the pan, forming small patties or fritters.
  • Fry 3–4 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.

5. Serve

Enjoy hot with:

  • Sour cream
  • Greek yogurt
  • Garlic sauce
  • Plain or with fresh herbs

🌟 Tips & Variations

  • Crispier fritters: Squeeze a bit of moisture from the cabbage before mixing.
  • Add-ins: Corn, green onion, or a touch of cheese.
  • Make it gluten-free: Use rice flour or chickpea flour.
  • Make a big pancake: Cook the whole mixture as one large fritter and slice into wedges.
