๐ Ingredients
- 1 ball fresh burrata
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes
- 2โ3 tbsp olive oil
- 2โ3 cloves garlic, sliced or minced
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- ยฝ tsp dried oregano (optional)
- Fresh basil leaves, torn
- Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional but amazing)
- Crusty bread, for serving
๐ฉโ๐ณ Instructions
1. Roast the Cherry Tomatoes
- Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
- On a baking tray, toss the cherry tomatoes with:
- olive oil
- garlic
- salt
- pepper
- oregano (optional)
- Spread in a single layer.
- Roast for 15โ20 minutes, or until tomatoes burst and get lightly caramelized.
2. Prep the Burrata
- Place the burrata in the center of a serving plate.
- Let it sit at room temperature while the tomatoes roast (makes it extra creamy).
3. Assemble the Dish
- Spoon the hot, roasted tomatoes around and on top of the burrata.
- Add any leftover garlic-oil from the tray.
- Scatter fresh basil over the top.
- Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze (optional).
4. Serve
Serve immediately with:
- toasted baguette slices
- sourdough
- focaccia
- or grilled bread
