Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 100 g (3.5 oz) smoked salmon, diced

Optional Garnishes (Highly Recommended)

  • Fresh dill or chives, chopped
  • Capers
  • Lemon zest
  • Cracked black pepper

Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Avocado Mousse

  • Scoop avocado flesh into a food processor or blender
  • Add lemon juice, cream cheese, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper
  • Blend until smooth and creamy
  • Taste and adjust seasoning

2️⃣ Fold in Salmon

  • Gently fold diced smoked salmon into the avocado mixture
  • Reserve a little salmon for garnish if desired

3️⃣ Chill

  • Cover and refrigerate 15–30 minutes to firm up and enhance flavor

4️⃣ Serve
