- Gradually mix in the flour just until a soft dough forms.
- Fill a cookie press with dough and press cookies directly onto the baking sheet.
- Decorate with sprinkles or cherries if desired.
- Bake 6–8 minutes, until set but not browned on top.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
