No-Bake Biscuit Pudding
Description
A simple, nostalgic dessert made with crushed biscuits folded into a warm chocolate mixture, then chilled until firm. It’s smooth, fudgy, and perfect when you want a quick dessert without using an oven.
Ingredients (Serves 6–8)
- 250 g plain tea biscuits or digestive biscuits
- ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter
- ½ cup (100 g) sugar (white or brown)
- ¼ cup (25 g) cocoa powder
- ½ cup (120 ml) milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional Add-ins
- ¼ cup chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, peanuts)
- ¼ cup raisins or dried cranberries
- ¼ cup desiccated coconut
Instructions
- Prepare the Biscuits
Break biscuits into small chunks. Do not crush into powder. Set aside. - Make the Chocolate Sauce
In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter.
Add sugar, cocoa powder, and milk. Stir continuously until smooth and slightly thickened (do not boil). - Flavor the Mixture
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. - Combine
Add biscuit pieces (and optional add-ins) to the chocolate mixture.
Mix until all biscuits are well coated. - Set the Pudding
Transfer mixture into a greased or lined dish or loaf pan.
Press down firmly with a spatula. - Chill
Refrigerate for 2–3 hours or until fully set. - Serve
Slice and serve cold or slightly softened at room temperature.
