Cracker Barrel Meatloaf (Copycat Recipe)
Ingredients
Meatloaf
2 eggs
â…” cup milk
32 Ritz crackers, crushed
½ cup chopped onion
4 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder (optional but recommended)
1½ lb ground beef (80/20 works best)
Topping (Glaze)
½ cup ketchup
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp yellow mustard
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment.
In a large bowl, whisk together:
Eggs
Milk
Stir in:
Crushed Ritz crackers
Onion
Cheddar cheese
Salt, pepper, and garlic powder
Add ground beef and mix gently just until combined (do not overmix).
Press mixture evenly into the prepared loaf pan.
In a small bowl, mix together:
Ketchup
Brown sugar
Mustard
Spread glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake uncovered for 60–70 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
Tips for Best Flavor
Use Ritz crackers only — they give the signature Cracker Barrel texture
