π Homemade Baileys Irish Cream (Perfect for Christmas Gifts!) π
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup (240 ml) Irish whiskey (like Jameson, or your favorite brand)
- 1 (14 oz / 397 g) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Mix the cocoa powder:
In a small bowl, mix the cocoa powder with a tablespoon of cream to help dissolve it and avoid lumps. - Blend everything together:
In a blender (or using a whisk in a mixing bowl), combine:- the remaining heavy cream
- the whiskey
- the sweetened condensed milk
- the dissolved cocoa mixture
- and the vanilla extract
- Bottle it up:
Pour the mixture into clean glass bottles or jars with tight-fitting lids. - Chill and shake:
Refrigerate before serving. Itβs best chilled! Shake well before each use, as some separation is natural. - Storage:
Keep refrigerated. It should stay fresh for up to 2 weeks, thanks to the alcohol.
