  • 100g (about 7 tbsp) melted butter

For the cream filling:

  • 500ml (2 1/4 cups) heavy cream (cold)
  • 300g (10 oz) cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional – helps balance the sweetness)

For the topping (optional):

  • Fruit jam, fresh berries, or chocolate ganache
  • Crushed nuts or cookie crumbs for garnish

1. Prepare the crust:

  • Crush the cookies in a food processor or by hand (using a rolling pin and a ziplock bag) until finely ground.
  • Mix the crumbs with the melted butter until the texture resembles wet sand.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan or cake mold to form an even base. Use the bottom of a glass to press it firmly.

  • In another bowl, mix the cream cheese, condensed milk, vanilla, and lemon juice. Beat until smooth and creamy.

3. Assemble the cheesecake:

  • Pour the creamy mixture over the chilled crust.
  • Smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight for best results.
