💧 Ginger Water for Weight Loss
Ingredients
1–2 inches of fresh ginger root
3–4 cups of water
1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice (optional, but enhances fat-burning and flavor)
1 teaspoon of honey (optional, for sweetness)
Instructions
Prepare the Ginger: Wash the ginger root thoroughly and slice it into thin pieces (no need to peel unless you prefer).
Boil: In a pot, bring the 3–4 cups of water to a boil. Add the sliced ginger and let it simmer on low heat for about 10–15 minutes .
Strain: Remove from heat and strain the ginger water into a cup or jug.
Add Lemon (and Honey): Once the water cools slightly (lukewarm), add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of honey if desired. Stir well.
Serve: Enjoy warm in the morning on an empty stomach, or sip throughout the day.
