Air Fryer Boiled Eggs


🥚 Air Fryer Boiled Eggs (Soft, Medium & Hard)

Ingredients

  • Eggs (as many as you want, as long as they fit in a single layer)
  • Bowl of ice water (for cooling)

🔥 Instructions

1. Preheat the Air Fryer (optional but best for consistency)

Preheat air fryer to 270°F (130°C)
If your air fryer runs hot, use 260°F.


2. Add the Eggs

Place eggs in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
No water needed.


3. Cook Time Guide

Soft-Boiled

  • 9–10 minutes → set whites, runny yolk

Medium-Boiled

  • 11–12 minutes → jammy yolk

Hard-Boiled

  • 14–15 minutes → fully set yolk

(Larger eggs may need 1 extra minute.)


4. Ice Bath

Immediately transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water for 5 minutes.
This stops cooking and makes peeling easier.


5. Peel & Serve

Gently crack and roll eggs on the counter, then peel under running water if needed.

  • Older eggs peel more easily than very fresh eggs.
  • If shells get brown spots, lower the temperature by 10–20 degrees.
  • Don’t overcrowd the basket—air needs to circulate.
