- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder

- 1 tbsp olive oil
Cheesy Butter Sauce
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack (or a mix)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Optional: 1–2 tsp Worcestershire sauce (Texas Roadhouse-style depth)
🔥 Instructions
1. Season the steak
- Pat steak cubes dry with a paper towel (important for browning).
- Mix together: garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper.
- Toss steak bites in spices to evenly coat.
2. Sear the steak bites
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
- Once the pan is hot, add steak bites in a single layer (do not overcrowd).
- Sear 1–2 minutes per side until browned, juicy, and cooked to your liking.
- Remove steak from the skillet and set aside (keep warm).
3. Make the cheesy butter sauce
- Reduce heat to medium-low.
- Add butter to the pan.
- Once melted, add minced garlic and cook 20–30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in Worcestershire if using.
- Add shredded cheese, stirring until just melted into a creamy, buttery sauce.
- Stir in fresh parsley.
4. Combine
- Add the steak bites back into the skillet.
- Toss to coat fully in the cheesy butter sauce.
5. Serve
Serve immediately with:
- Mashed potatoes
- Rice
- Garlic bread
- Roasted veggies
- Or on top of pasta for a FULL meal
