🍲 Crockpot Beef Tips and Noodles
Ingredients
- 1 lb stew meat (or 2 lbs if you want it extra meaty!)
- 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups beef broth (or water)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional but great)
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 12 oz egg noodles, cooked separately
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crockpot
Place stew meat directly into the slow cooker. No need to sear—unless you want extra flavor!
2. Mix the Sauces
In a bowl, whisk together:
- Onion soup mix
- Brown gravy mix
- Cream of mushroom soup
- Beef broth
- Worcestershire sauce
- Garlic powder (optional)
Pour this mixture over the beef in the crockpot.
3. Slow Cook
Cook on:
- LOW for 7–8 hours (best for tender meat)
OR - HIGH for 4–5 hours
Stir once or twice if you can.
Sauce will thicken beautifully as it cooks.
4. Cook the Noodles
Prepare egg noodles according to package instructions.
Drain and set aside.
5. Combine & Serve
When beef is fork-tender:
- Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Spoon beef tips and gravy over a bed of egg noodles.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
Tips & Variations
- Add mushrooms or onions to the crockpot for extra flavor.
- Stir in ½ cup sour cream at the end for a creamy stroganoff-style sauce.
- Serve over mashed potatoes or rice instead of noodles.
- Want it thicker? Mix 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water and stir in the last 30 minutes.
