Serves: 6–8

Total Time: 12–15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 whole wheel of brie (8–10 oz)
  • 3 fresh figs, halved
  • 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup toasted walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 3 tbsp honey, plus extra for drizzling
  • 3–4 sprigs fresh thyme
  • Buttery crackers, crostini, or baguette for serving

Optional:

  • A pinch of flaky salt
  • Extra rosemary or thyme for garnish

⭐ Instructions

1. Prep

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  2. Place the brie wheel on a small oven-safe dish, baking sheet, or cast iron skillet.
    • You may score the top of the rind with a shallow β€œX” to encourage melting, but it’s optional.

2. Arrange the Fruit & Nuts

  1. Place the fig halves on top of the brie.
  2. Fan the pear slices around or on top of the figs.
  3. Sprinkle with the toasted walnuts.
  4. Add fresh thyme sprigs.

3. Add Honey

Drizzle 3 tablespoons honey over the fruit and walnuts.
Add more to taste.

4. Bake

Bake for 8–10 minutes, until the brie is warm and gooey but not collapsed.
(The rind should feel soft when gently pressed.)

5. Serve

Remove thyme sprigs if woody.
Serve immediately with:

  • Buttery crackers
  • Warm baguette
  • Crostini
  • Apple slices
  • Gluten-free crackers

Finish with an extra drizzle of honey and a pinch of flaky salt if desired.
