Ingredients (4 ingredients!)

  • 1 sheet rectangular puff pastry (refrigerated section)
  • 250 g sour cream
  • 120 g smoked ham, cubed
  • Grated cheese of your choice (about 80–120 g) — cheddar, mozzarella, gouda, etc.

🧑‍🍳 FULL RECIPE

1. Prepare the Pastry

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  3. Roll out your puff pastry sheet on a clean surface (keep it rectangular).

2. Add the Filling

  1. Spread sour cream evenly over the entire puff pastry.
  2. Sprinkle the cubed smoked ham across the pastry.
  3. Add a generous layer of grated cheese on top.

3. Shape the Sticks

  1. Fold the pastry in half lengthwise (like a long book).
  2. Press lightly so everything sticks together.
  3. With a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice into 1–1.5 cm wide strips.
  4. Take each strip and twist it to create spiral sticks.
  5. Place them on the prepared baking tray.

4. Bake

Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden, puffed, and crispy.


5. Serve

Serve warm or room temperature — perfect with:

  • Mustard dip
  • Sour cream dip
  • Spicy mayo
