Tender Chicken Delight (Creamy & Cheesy)

Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 500 g boneless chicken breast (cut into cubes or strips)
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika or chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp oil or butter

For the Creamy Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup fresh cream or cooking cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

For the Cheesy Finish

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese (optional)

Optional Add-ins

  • Mushrooms (sliced)
  • Bell peppers
  • Sweet corn

Instructions

Step 1: Marinate the Chicken

  1. In a bowl, combine chicken, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and lemon juice.
  2. Mix well and let it marinate for 10–15 minutes.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

  1. Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken and cook until lightly golden and tender (about 6–8 minutes).
  3. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.

Step 3: Prepare the Creamy Sauce

  1. In the same pan, add butter and olive oil.
  2. Sauté onions until soft and translucent.
  3. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Stir in cream and milk.
  5. Add oregano, basil, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Simmer on low heat for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Step 4: Combine & Cheese It Up

  1. Add cooked chicken back into the sauce.
  2. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
  3. Add mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan cheese.
  4. Stir until the cheese melts and sauce becomes rich and creamy.

Step 5: Final Touch

  • Taste and adjust seasoning.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or extra cheese if desired.

  • Serve with garlic bread, buttered rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes
