Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Dumplings
In a bowl, mix all dumpling ingredients until just combined.
Roll into 1½-inch balls (about 16–18 dumplings).
Chill 10 minutes to firm up (optional but helpful).
2️⃣ Brown the Dumplings
Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add dumplings in a single layer.
Brown on all sides 6–8 minutes (they don’t need to be fully cooked yet).
Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Savory Sauce
In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté 30 seconds.
Pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits.
Stir in cream, soy sauce, Dijon, herbs, pepper, and salt.
4️⃣ Simmer Together
Return dumplings to the skillet.
Cover and simmer on low heat 10–12 minutes, until dumplings are cooked through and sauce thickens.
5️⃣ Serve
Garnish with fresh herbs
Serve over:
Cauliflower mash
Zucchini noodles
Steamed cabbage
🔥 Pro Tips
Almond flour keeps dumplings tender and juicy
For extra richness, finish with a small pat of butter
Don’t boil — gentle simmer keeps dumplings soft
